CIMSOLUTIONS signs Diversity Charter at SER
CIMSOLUTIONS aims to concretely strengthen the commitment to diversity and inclusion, with an extra focus on a better male-female balance within the organization.
CIMSOLUTIONS signed the Diversity Charter at the Social and Economic Council (SER) yesterday and is now one of the 565 affiliated organizations to this charter. SER Diversity in Business promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace and supports companies in setting up, implementing, and monitoring their diversity plans. CIMSOLUTIONS believes that everyone is entitled to equal opportunities and treatment; the Diversity Charter helps to make plans to realize equal opportunities and equal treatment concrete.
Michiel Segers, jointly responsible within CIMSOLUTIONS for joining the Diversity Charter, states: “We are pleased to formalize our values regarding diversity and inclusion. These are values that have been implicitly present in our organization for years, as evidenced by the great diversity of nationalities within CIMSOLUTIONS. The Diversity Charter provides us with insight into what we can do better. In doing so, we are focusing on one of the challenges within ICT: striving for a better balance between men and women within the organization. To this end, we have defined actions to increase the number of women within CIMSOLUTIONS with a similarly good distribution across job levels. We look forward with great pleasure to the implementation and the intended results.”
