Fun CIMSOLUTIONS Sports Day at the Veluwe

Last Saturday was all about sportsmanship and fun during our annual sports day for employees and their families. This year, the event took place at Otterlo Events, right in the middle of the beautiful Veluwe. The perfect location for a day full of action, relaxation, and fun.

After a joint brunch with fresh rolls, hot dogs, and fruit, the participants spread out across the grounds to take part in the activities of their own choosing.

There was plenty of choice for young and old, sporty and less sporty. Adventurers headed out for the mountain bike clinic, braved heights during climbing and abseiling, or tried their hand at Hunted on the Veluwe. Team players could test their skills in the escape room or the VR escape game, while others proved their precision with dodgebow and archery. There was enthusiastic participation in the kickboxing clinic, and even a rugged woodcutting workshop was included in the program. For those who preferred to take it a bit easier, there was a beautiful walk with the forest ranger through the Veluwe nature, a covered wagon ride, a creative graffiti workshop, and a relaxed wine tasting.

In between activities, fire pits added to the cozy atmosphere. Here, young and old could roast marshmallows and make popcorn together. A big hit with the children (and secretly with the adults too).

At the end of the afternoon, everyone gathered again for the pub quiz: the annual Battle of the Offices. The winners were, just like last year, our colleagues from Best. Congratulations, the trophy will grace your branch for another year!

The day was festively concluded with an extensive and delicious barbecue buffet, where people chatted about the day while enjoying good food and a drink.
